Community Update – Police Activity in the Brinsop Area

Residents may have noticed an increased emergency services presence in the Brinsop area on the evening of 28 June 2026.

Police and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident involving an abandoned vehicle that was found on fire in a field. The fire was dealt with safely, and there was no wider risk to the local community.

As part of ongoing enquiries, it is believed that the vehicle may be linked to a burglary that took place in Kingstone on 27 June 2026. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding both incidents remain ongoing.

We understand that incidents involving a large emergency services response can cause concern within the community. We would like to reassure residents that this was an isolated incident and that there is no ongoing risk to the public.
